We extend our warmest congratulations to San Carlos’ own Gretchen Kelly, Airports Division Manager for the County of San Mateo, and Paul Marshall, President of the California Disaster Airlift Response Team, who were presented Certificates of Merit from the National Aeronautic Association at the 37th annual Crystal Eagle Award dinner of the Aero Club of Northern California on Nov. 16, 2019. Gretchen was recognized for her service to the San Francisco Bay area aviation community through her current role as Airports Division Manager for the County of San Mateo and her previous position with the Federal Aviation Administration’s San Francisco Airports District Office. Paul was recognized for his dedication to spreading the benefits of general aviation through youth outreach, public benefit flying, and his efforts to build local capabilities for disaster relief through the Disaster Airlift Response Team (DART) concept.
