SQL Tower will experience instances of ATC Zero to accommodate controller breaks on the 15th and 16th of June due to full day single cab operation. Expect those instances to be approximately 1300 Local but it will be as traffic permits. Advisory of closure will be broadcasted on the ATIS for the duration of the break and pre-coordinated with NORCAL.

Controllers have been advised to limit pattern volume at their discretion; but little to no reduction in services is expected based on this new schedule and controller shifts. However, please plan your flying and flight training schedules accordingly, especially in regards to pattern-work.

RVA, the contractor who operates SQL Tower, is working to hire additional controllers there to eliminate these service deficiencies in the future.
